The Right Mortgage and Protection Network is launching a dedicated PMI division including access to individual, corporate, and SME PMI schemes.
The network will be working with health insurer VitalityHealth to encourage new advisers to the PMI market.
Amanda Wilson, who is heading up The Right PMI, said: “We have been involved in the PMI marketplace for a number of years both here and at our previous network. PMI is a specialist subject with specifically trained sales people.
“The market is massive and very much undersold. We are unique in the network space for providing a specialist unit for PMI advisers.”
Greg Levine, director, corporate and intermediated business at VitalityHealth, said: “Working with the Right Mortgage and Protection Network enables us to collectively grow the market through sales of PMI to a non PMI specialist market. Through 160 field-based consultants, VitalityHealth is able to train and support advisers and firms that are new to PMI.
“We are also able to utilise our Vitality Academy programme to provide advisers with learning and development support on our products and around our core purpose of making people healthier.”
The Right Mortgage and Protection Network says it will provide a home for PMI advisers with its in-house training academy. This facility will deliver the provision to advisers looking to get involved within the PMI market along with the backing of PMI providers.
The network has projections to increase the PMI sales division to 50 advisers by the end of 2016.
